I certainly do not feel disappointed. The excerpt of the new song looks pretty solid. Compared to other teams, they are doing great.

I feel the same way. It does look promising.
And why should they change into something completely different? -
The only thing I dislike is that they used "SHACHI" instead of "SYACHI," probably just because I was so used to write Syachi every time I referred to the group. They're trying new things and Honoka debuting as songwriter is awesome. They seem determined to carry on, so I would support them even more now.

Ok, it seems that only I have had that perception.
I have to say that both Burning Festival and Dreamer seems great songs to me, but I think it was a good time for new additions, I always think that the incorporations to a group that has had graduations are always positive as they have been for Tokisen or Crownpop. And that they do not have to compare with the old members, since if it is done because they do not compare Yuzuki with Yuzu since she now sings the majority of her lines or with Haruna and Chiyuri that seems to have also remained with much of their lines? -
I don't think you can compare S(h)yachi with the other two groups
Tokisen and especially Crown Pop are still not established entities with members under 20
Syachi have been together for quite some time now
I've personally never been a fan of new additions.
But that's a matter of taste really -

Could you compare it with dempagumi for example? They added 2 members after being established and being over 20 years old and it seems to have worked quite well for them.

It's a personal preference whether you want it or not and how you perceive a group
Plus Nagi and Rin were seasoned veterans from a sister group
That's like having Hinata and Rittan holding concurrent positions in Ebichu and Shachi.
Not that I wouldn't like to see THAT :-) -

That is something I thought about too, all the members that I wanted to be added were already with other groups. Tokisen can easily do something like adding anyone just because they're so young as a group, but adding someone like that would be a huge burden for the person they choose. I'm already reading comments somewhere else of people deserting just because Chiyu is not anymore in the group. And she just deleted all of her pictures related to Syachi and started posting in English (for some reason).
