チームしゃちほこ ROAD to 笠寺 This was a bonus DVD that you could get at a Syachi event after collecting the flyers from all three editions of their "Syachi Best 2012-2017" album It's a documentary about their tour starting from the March gig at Gaishi Hall
So I was translating their blogs on H!O for a little while, but no one seemed to read them, so I made an external blog for translating Syachi blogs and other relevant materials. https://syachihoblog.tumblr.com/
I've set up some daily posts for while I have a backlog, but then it will just be dependent on when they post (which isn't too often, but, well..).
Shirai Kotono(SKE48)@kotonoshirai When I was a 5th grade elementary school student, I danced as a Syachihoko's backup dancer. In the photo, I am standing next to Chiyuri chan.
Sorry to ask here but in light of the fact that Chiyu and her sister Chinami have always been inseparable it will affect her as well I'm sure Can someone tell me what's going on at GEM?
There's nothing that can be explained well, since their management has given no solid explanation, but the general timeline of events appears to be as follows:
1. Several members are engaged in showroom events that require audience participation to move on to further rounds to obtain a prize (usually modeling for x magazine). 2. One such member is in the running to win a magazine shoot, but it becomes apparent that she will not continue with the event halfway through, as they have a concert in Korea scheduled for the same time as the formal audition that is part of the event. 3. This causes much unrest among fans, who spent lots of money pushing this member in the Showroom event, only for her to pull out halfway for a schedule conflict that should have been known from the start. Management is forced to apologize. Other members continue Showroom events as scheduled. 4. Random social media accounts start leaking photos of the aforementioned member and one other (both are centers, as I understand it) hanging out in Korea with what appears to be several male and female companions in close contact. 5. Both members go quiet on social media. 6. Management announces that events for the rest of the year are being cancelled due to "group circumstances." 7. Some events for next year are also being cancelled.
This is all from parsing the GEM thread on H!O, which you can look through if you want more detail on the potential scandals or fan reactions, but the unfortunate truth is that no one has any idea what is happening internally with the members or with the management of the group, but the fans are being punished all the same. Idol Street is a bit of a mess as a whole these days, though.
Thanks for the update Quoting Oliver Hardy: That's a fine mess they got the girls into... Indeed Idol Street seems to be in dire need of a change on top. Super Girls and Cheeky Parade haven't lived up to the potential they have either lately
