they probably are custom made. those are just like the class rings they sell in the US (and maybe elsewhere). that's about the same price, too. the companies that make them already have the equipment set up for customization on a per-ring basis so it's not as weird as it might sound at first.

I like the windbreaker, again, if they made them in sizes I could wear, then...
