Technically Syachi is more famous now than Ebichu when they released Chunin right? I expected them to sell more or less that. Certainly not to be sold out on 15,000.

About idol album sales, the most impressive is Battle and Romance, 23k on 1st week, 160k on total sales. it kept charting on oricon for 2 years.

Amusingly, when I first heard the news I thought the album
Name was "Hitsumabushi" (the tsu and the ma in the other order). Hitsumabushi is an Aichi prefecture food specialty. Have there been (will there be) any jokes about that yet?

◇ colors 画像 歌詞付き

I didn't read about "Colors" at the time of the announcement, so, having recently bought「ひまつぶし 」(deciding for 踊る盤, though I am probably the less "dancing" person in the world, just because it was the sole version readily available), I was still expecting a somewhat homogeneous "dance" album.
That, of course, is very simplistic, but not totally wrong. They are still very far from some of the more "arduous" MCZ excursions.
Anyway, I reached track 9 totally unprepared and, after about ten seconds of instumental introduction, I was already mumbling about the improbably "Base Ball Bear-like" sound, then looked frantically for the booklet and found the well known confirmation.
Indeed there is no reason to be surprised, considering the almost enthusiastic Twitter posts of Koide Yūsuke (小出祐介) himself just after the 「いいくらし」release.
Probably the piece well represents some of his more "generic" and bland compositions.
Moreover it is, in my view, adversely affected by the absence of the other band members, particularly bass player 関根史織 (another Shiori to consider!), so that it totally lacks their usual instrumental clarity (almost string quartet-like).
In the end, a slightly disappointing song, but still a pleasant encounter for someone who has been following BBB since the "High Color Times" period.
