I don't get why people are so afraid to show their face. Pretty much anything where a ticket must be bought to attend it says somewhere that you can be photographed/videoed and used in promotional material.
Its understandable for family and friends of the stars that don't want to get hounded by unknown people, but if you are a fan why wouldn't you want to be seen in support of your idol!? -
this has actually been a problem in the Facebook page. We have over 1100 members but the amount of people who have commented/shared info/liked posts were less than a quarter of that number. People can be very shy and because it was an open group in the beginning, everything was shared so a lot of members didn't want their friends to see what they liked/commented that involved something those friends wouldn't be interested in or find weird.
But if you look at some youtube videos that involve song covers or something alike, some people actually wear the surgical masks to conceal half of their face whether it'd be out of shyness or not wanting their face to be known.
the coordinator of this project is only saying you can hide your face if it's what makes you comfortable when you want to support your idols. And considering what happened with the overseas Thank you project, the amount of views within the fandom can become really high (we're almost at 11,000 now). Her main issue being that most of the videos she received were from natives and really wants the overseas fans to participate and show how passionate we are whether we're takanofus or not. She's basically the one that has been helping the FB page send the Folkmura postcards despite the slim chance of having the requests read or shown in the back but wants to take it a step further with the video project in hopes of creating more if the rest of the members were to have their own solo concerts one day. -
Kudos to all the mononofus involved!!! i must confess i did try to contribute to the project, but i chicken out at the last second... so i'll just like/share the video like the shy/lazy mononofu i am.

you weren't. they were all ordered differently, not by country. I was in it, a former dekonofu-turned-takanofu was in it. Don't think you were the only American. I was the only American in the project last year
