If they played live those three drums must have been a mess.
They said it was always them, even the recording. The number of instruments allowed each girl to only tackle a few chords. Also would have been hard to drown out drums with playback ;)
I'm pretty sure they're still using playback, just playing over top of it. You can hear the bass in the live video. also we can't see Mayama, but I don't think anyone is playing the noodly lead part live.
but anyway, still cool they played it live at all. even if Ayaka is the only one who could actually play the drums :)
Wow, Ayaka really is giving it her all, so much energy.
You can tell they're nervous (no wonder), specially Mirei and Hinata. Hinata was making the worried faces she used to make back when she had long hair.
I hope they get more chances to play so they can get more comfortable doing it.
Now I want Ayaka to do the drums part at the beginning of Houkago Getabako Rock n Roll MX :))
It sounds like a lot of the music in that performance is live -- maybe 75%. It's really raw, because they're just starting out with their instruments, but I like that sound -- I hope they make this into an ongoing side-project for Ebichu.
They actually sound more than a little like some of TsuShiMaMiRe's more chaotic stuff, and Go Go Nana Mirei actually looks a bit like Mari from TsuShiMaMiRe. I wonder if that's deliberate...
