Why Coalamode has so much prominence? xd

Well, because they're pretty talented (and can contribute creatively), but probably also because they're willing (and able) to do whatever the producers ask of them (sometimes on short notice, like back in the New Year's show). We're not just talking about them showing up for the four days the show airs. They have to also be there for all the rehearsals.

The producers are probably delighted to have a puzzle piece that you can plug in pretty much anywhere. Makes their jobs a lot easier. So they decided to use them every day.
