    Cool. A journalist who actually knows what he's talking about, explaining the Japanese idol scene in English. This might be a first.

    For those of you who need extra motivation to watch the video: he says really nice things about Momoclo...I mean REALLY nice things. Starts about 7 minutes in.

    Discussing the "Blast!" PV I was thinking about who should represent Japanese music culture in the opening ceremony of the 2020 Olympics.
    Let's say you had to nominate six acts/collabo segments who would that be?

    From the top of my head I would go as follows
    I admit here's a lot of personal preferences involved and I may change that thinking about it a bit more:

    a) Ayumi Hamasaki & Gackt
    b) Ikiminogakari
    c) Shiina Ringo
    d) SMAP (revived for the event) & Arashi
    e) Gospellers & Little Glee Monster
    and of course
    f) AKB48 & Momoclo
