Riko:I live in the suburbs of Tokyo.

Riko:I have learned Japanese drum, modern ballet, piano and baton twirling before.

Riko:I love Otsuka Ai san's "Sakuranbo". I always was singing and dancing with my friends.

・You were discovered by Stardust talent scout when you were a 5th year elementary student.

Riko:I was discovered at the stairs of the Meiji Jingu Mae Station by Stardust talent scout when went to Harajuku with my mom.
There are many clothes stores near Harajuku. Harajuku was my desired town.

・You were interested in fashion?

Riko:Yeah. I love fashion and fashion magazine.

・You were discovered by talent scout for the first time?

Riko:I was discovered several times. I turned down every proposal.

・Do you remember the day when you were discovered?

Riko:I wanted to go to the restroom. Suddenly talent scout showed up in front of us.
My mom was very surprised. It is because the name of the famous actresses was written in the Stardust business card.
Later my dad and my older brother looked the Stardust up on the internet.

・You were interested in show business?

Riko:I was interested in show business, so I have learned modern ballet.
I wanted to become a fashion magazine model and wanted to wear a lot of cute clothes.

・What kind of fashion magazine did you read?

Riko:I read "Nico Puchi". Nico Puchi has a system to recruit reader models.
I couldn't become a reader model.
And I remembered a pretty girl because she has worn salopette pants in Nico Puchi.
A pretty girl name is Aiai.


・You entered the Stardust five years ago.

Riko:How time flies!
I was taking acting lessons at first and had been looking forward to it every week.

・What was your aim?

Riko:My aim was to become an actress or a fashion model.

・Did you want to become an ido....

Riko:NO!!!

・Did you know EbiChu before?

Riko:I didn't know EbiChu, but my dad knew.
I have been to EbiChu event once with my familly.
The thing that left the biggest impression on me was their colorful costumes.
I had never thought that I would join the EbiChu.

・You joined the Team Daiou Ika.

Riko:One day, I found that I could take dance lessons.
I took the lessons out of curiosity. Later, Team Daiou Ika was formed.

・Do you know the creature "Daiou Ika"?

Riko:No.

・Did you look that up?

Riko:No.
I had absolutely no interest in our team name.

・What kind of person was Kaho?

Riko:Kaho chan was in harmony with all our mates and was the life of the party.

・You jointed the idol group for the first time.

Riko:My feelings underwent a change.
Idol was more fun than I imagined. At that time, I threw away my aim.(an actress or a fashion model)
My new aim was to become an idol.

・When did you know you join the EbiChu?

Riko:I knew it in October, 2013 or November.
On that day, I was fighting with older brother in my house. And I broke the electric fan.
When my mom was scolding me, there was a phone call.
My mom's mood improved as soon as she hung up. So I heard about EbiChu from her.
It was not more impressive because I was scolded.
I was called, so I went to the Stardust.
I knew that I joined the group with Kaho chan for the first time there.

・What kind of impression of EbiChu did you have?

Riko:EbiChu was great and I longed to be like them.
I loved "Odoru Gariben Chugakusei", "Ume" and "Otona wa Wakattekurenai".
I bought EbiChu photo cards at a sale commemoration event(Ume).
I wanted cute EbiChu girls photo, but they wore Yubi Matsuri costumes(Houkago Getabako Rock 'n' Roll MX).

・You jointed the EbiChu with Kaho chan.

Riko:I was very nervous.

・How did you work out the problem?

Riko:I have worked out the all my problems by myself so far.
Everything will work out in due course.

・EbiChu fans knew that you joined the EbiChu in Maebashi Green Dome.

Riko:I wore a hoodie during a concert. Team Daiou Ika members said. "Why do you not take off your hoodie?"
Because I wore EbiChu T-shirt, I was not able to take off my hoodie.
After the curtain falls, Rika chan started talking to me. "Do you eat this?" lol

・You had to learn the choreo of the 20 songs.

Riko:Ayaka chan always took lessons together for us.
And Hinata chan taught us a lot about EbiChu.
The choreo of the 20 songs were extremely difficult to memorize.

・Did you cry?

Riko:I didn't cry. But I was crying in a fantasy world. lol

・You appeared on Budokan concert.

Riko:I was wearing the ninja costume.
I was very happy that 11 girls could appeared on concert.

・Do you really work out the all your problems by yourself?

Riko:Yes.
When I am groping for a solution, I have a new problem.

・What was the impressive 3 things after jointed the EbiChu?

Riko:Firstly... Other people's opinions and thoughts are as important as my opinions and thoughts.
I am not good at singing, so I didn't have confidence.
Vocal coach said to me. "You were singing hard. Your good point is that."
I accepted coach's idea.
Secondly... My fantasy has become a reality.
I dreamed of appearing on Music Station someday.
