I don't know if this is the case with others too but for me personally, I don't have extra time and money to spend on another group. Momoclo is the only group that I follow. And they are active and entertaining enough that I don't feel the need to look at other groups.
Now, this is just a passing observation, but I think the other stardust groups are quite similar to Momoclo. So, they are technically competing with Momoclo, which doesn't make sense to me. Why would the management go with that plan? I might be wrong though, as said I haven't checked the other groups.

First - Sorry for my bad English

I think Stardust is wanting to launch many groups without "thinking" right, has an excess of groups (I like all the groups), has so many groups for them to promote that they end up forgetting one or the other

I remember that the stardust of old, every time launched a group, had mv, had a better "investment" (even though it is a very small group), nowadays I see that it does not have any more, I can say until I am finding the stardust means "relaxed", Iginari touhoku san will do 3 years (or already did) and until today does not have a single / mv .... they only have EP / CD ..... they need to appear in the media to succeed , it's so much a group that maybe you do not have the money to do so many mv's ...........

In the case of tv shows, I do not follow much, the only one I followed was "Ebichu ++ (Tasutasu), I loved it, it's over, besides, I think ALL TV programs boring (I'm not counting the of momoclo), if they did one of the stardust planet resembling the ebichu tasutasu I would love it.

The last thing I need is another female Jpop idol group in my life.

I agree with a lot of the thoughts you all have posted. I think another factor is how unconventional Momoclo has always been. They attracted a lot of fans from outside the normal idol sphere, such as sports fans. And while that fanbase might love Momoclo a lot, they might not be as inclined to engage in the typical idol fan activities like finding other groups. And since Stardust groups aren't built around graduations there is less incentive to switch favourite groups. If you find a group where you like the members (and for a lot of people Momoclo seem to be that group) you don't really need to look around for other groups. If members graduated with replacements you might not like the new ones as much, and then you might go check out that new Syachihoko member and see if they do the trick for you instead. Now, I'm personally very happy with the Stardust model of keeping members, but from a marketing standpoint that might have its downsides as well.

I also think there's a point to the argument that Stardust groups are a bit too similar, at least the early ones. Ebichu is a bit different from Momoclo, but Syachihoko and Takoyaki always felt like lesser versions of Momoclo to me (no offence to Syachi and Tako fans, I know they're not identical, but that's the initial impression I get). I think if Stardust were a bit more bold with their choices they could really have some big hits. After all, the boldness of Momoclo is a big part of their initial success.

for me, taconiji is losing his "personality", and one of the great culprits is the avex, in the beginning, taconiji always took his songs to a funk / pop side, which was very good, I think even if they stayed in that line , they did very well, however, the avex wants to put in them a totally different style, the new music of them even looks like KPOP

I must say a lot of good and interesting points have been made here :)
I wish Stardust would read them (and care... Lol)

I mean, they're a company that wants to make money. Surely they must have people whose only job it is to think about these things? Haha

Talking about the follow-up of the groups of the opening act. I believe that Rocka Japonika are the ones that have the least (many people took the opportunity to go to the bathroom at that moment, very few people wore their merchandising) instead for my surprise Hachimitsu Rocket had a lot of fans cheering and wearing their shirts.

Does anyone know exactly where and when it will go on sale? Being that it's a limited edition, will all the normal outlets get it?
