At This Point of My Life, What do you folks think I should do with My UNWANTED obsession with Momori

From all that we has read here, I get the impression that Momoclo is just a scapegoat for you, to which you are guilty as being responsible for your own weaknesses

And I am sure that not only I have such an opinion

It’s not a scapegoat, but rather a big fuel/reason why I’m so different to the point of leading to assault (among the others I listed). Since I’m that obsessed with MCZ, they’ve essentially became a character trait of mine and are a big part of who I am.

And again dimsulmi, if I’m THAT different from those folks, then what does that describe as? If your suggesting I shouldn’t feel pity for myself, then how should I feel?

I don't know and i don't care. I don't think anybody here does. My point was you blamed being a nofu for your life problems, and it seems to me that with or without this hobby you would have those problems (because of you're an airhead or you don't have a car or whatever else you've reasoned it out to be). I don't see how liking some music here has anything to do with other people treating you poorly. It sounds to me like they have other reasons to. This isn't a forum to whine about that. Maybe instead of listing these sorrows you could just go take a permit exam as a first step. And maybe instead of feeling sorry for yourself, you should just think about how fortunate you are to not live in some war torn or famine struck country.

Huh? Momoclo is a mainstream pop act. Unless you really get into the subtleties (which I seriously doubt anyone who you claim beat you up because you like MCZ did), liking them is no different than liking Taylor Swift.

You're acting like we're talking about GG Allin, instead of a Japanese idol act that makes it a point to be extra scripted and family friendly every time they're in front of an audience.

In fact, I honestly believe that if you were into Taylor Swift instead of Momoclo, you'd be annoying some unlucky Taylor Swift fan board with the same exact complaint.

. I told you about my disabled friend before, remember? He has a counselor provided by Social Security.

I actually do not remember you having a disabled friend. How is he disabled? What was his struggle?

Also, just to let you know: I'm NOT disabled to the point where I cannot live life regularly, but that I am rather slow on doing/saying things correctly and following along as fast others can.

He has social and mental issues. He is bipolar and has anxiety attacks. He is a functioning adult who lives on his own with governmental assistance.

Except that Taylor Swift and MCZ have a different appeal to those folks because they are EXTREMELY, culturally different (to the point here it's even more dangerous to follow MCZ here in the West).

I've mentioned it in my first few threads of this site (http://momoiroclover.net/discussion/407/to-the-older-males-of-mcz-did-the-girlss-outfits-early-in-their-career-shockedbothered-you/p1 AND http://momoiroclover.net/discussions/mine), Japanese females (idols in particular) are seen as horny/slutty individuals because of how Japanese anime/comic books/videos portray these females (not to mention the whole tentacle porn and Hentai remarks) Although there is also sexualization with Taylor Swift and other American pop acts as well, there is one major differences they have compared to these Japanese idols: THEY LOOK LIKE THEIR AGE!!!

If Taylor Swift wore some of the stuff MCZ used to wore back then (Aarin's Datte Aarin perfromace in Harun no Ichidaiji 2012, the Coco Natsu & Chaii Maxx outfits), no one here would go crazy about it because Swift actually looks like a mature adult, so it would be easier on the eyes for folks here to see. The same goes in reverse: if MCZ wore some of the stuff that Taylor Swift or other American pop acts wore, there would be an outcry because MCZ LOOKS IKE 12 YEARS OLD (EVEN TODAY)!! I'm exaggerating a bit of course, but my point is that MCZ (and other female Japanese idols) looks really young despite being their 20s, so the thought of them having (mature looking) adult fans would be seen as a weaboo/pedophilia following.

Otherwise, there wouldn't be videos like this of folks talking/screening it like there is something unusual going on:

While your at it, look at the first 6 videos of this search: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=japanese+idol+fans

I honestly do not care, because that is your damage to bear and I find your posts to be repeatedly inappropriate and creepy. We aren’t some rehab group to lay out your issues with, and honestly if you really want to “cure” yourself why stay here? Why haven’t the mods ban you yet?

Nonsense. Japan and the US are close political and economic allies, and their cultures are thoroughly intertwined, and very similar.

Momoclo look, dress and act exactly like what they are: modern, cosmopolitan women in their early to mid 20s. They are mature, confident adults...something you should try sometime.

Momoclo don't do any of the things depicted in that video. And their audience is not the type of audience shown in that video.

Why indulge this person? They made up their mind about the group and J-Pop in general, and wants the rest of us to feel the same way, which obviously isn’t gonna happen. The mods should just ban him since this conversation is going nowhere.

    Why indulge this person?

Because I'm annoyed. The troll got to me. (also, the Yankees are wiping the floor with the Red Sox so thoroughly that it's getting boring, so I'm filling the time between Yankee homers any way I can...was kinda hoping Matt's still up, and he'll upload the latest Momoclo-chan DX, but looks like he decided to spend the night doing what normal people do: sleep).

sweetgelato & stansfield123 - I'm not forcing anyone to see it another way, I'm just telling you the perception that I see and have experienced.

And didn't I just established that I'm not a troll, but a guy in a it of a scenario? Must have forgotten the part where I have mentioned about my private conversations with Mattthecat and Kurinseshi!

Then keep it private. It’s very insulting to to come on a public forum and shame isn’t for our interests. It’s been established that the majority of us do not feel the same way, and these talks are making what should Ben pleasant experiences very uncomfortable.

Also, your "perspective" is based on racist stereotypes about the hyper-sexualized Asian Woman enforced by a Western media that distorts and condemns Eastern society and culture, placing the burden of cultural exchange on the Asian to justify their culture and live up to "Global" AKA American Standards (see:K-pop)

    1) Please tell me how are Japan & America similar? (Look here and you see there is indeed cultural differences between the two: https://youtu.be/spEh-BIaQnY)

    2) Look at MCZ and then look at these Popular westerners are I the same age range (Selena Gomez, Halsey, Melanie Martinez, Toni Storm, Tessa Blanchard) and you’ll see how different both groups look and present themselves!

    3) The point of the video (and the search results with it) was to show the idea of a lawsuit girl group with a adult male fan base. Don’t MCZ have a male dominated fan base? How are they different to the girl group shown in the video?

    PLEASE ANSWER!

I did not want to write in this thread but ... I just wanted to say that I am a bit disappointed to see that it has much more participation than others that add good news (thanks momonofu) or contents to download (thanks Mathecat).
