Just got back from watching "Forget me Not" at the Japan Cuts film festival. It was a movie that leaves you with a lot of questions and no answers, but Akari did a fantastic job. She is legitimately a great actress, not just for an ex-idol but in absolute terms.

Subs for the final episode of Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san:
    http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=714617

Raw links are in the description.

Wish it was longer haha. I would love to work on Maku ga Agaru, Honkey, but ultimately it's up to dobod whether or not he'd want to do it since he translates everything. I'm not good enough for that either. It's a full length movie, too, so it'd really take a while.

But anyway, I'm glad to have contributed to this series!

    last episode.

about the maku ga agaru, i haven't seen it, so i can't tell whether i can translate it or not. and for a full movie i kind of too lazy to do the timing, but if there is someone time it, i'll consider it after looking at the raw..

Like i said, im willing to work on the timing.. I´d probably do the subtitles if no one else steps in. I do understand the hard work on transcribing the whole dialogue on a 90 minute movie, and im afraid i tend to simplyfy a lot, so certain phrases will probably get lost in translation... We´ll see, im gonna need 28 hour days, 8 day weeks but i´d like the challenge

Based on Mizuho Hirayama's 2006 novel "Wasurenai to Chikatta Boku ga Ita", "Forget Me Not" touchingly explores the fragility of memories, as well as their power, in the process showcasing the talent of lead actress Akari Hayami, a former member of the now extremely popular J-pop group Momoiro Clover Z, and the star of last year's equally satisfying teen drama My Pretend Girlfriend.

‘I will never forget you,” lovers say to each other. The truth is that sooner or later, almost everyone is forgotten. In fact, many people you’ve met, from your kindergarten classmates to that sloshed guy at the bar last night, have forgotten you already. If you ran into them on the street today, they might be able to place your face, but probably won’t remember your name. That’s if you’re lucky; most likely they’ll just walk on by, oblivious.

That’s the dilemma, in extremis, of the heroine of Kei Horie’s bittersweet teen romance “Wasurenai to Chikatta Boku ga Ita” (“Forget Me Not”). Third-year high school student Azusa Oribe (Akari Hayami) is cute and vivacious, and nobody — not even her own father — can remember the least little thing about her.

Azusa goes through life constantly reintroducing herself to people, until she is ready to give up on the human race altogether.

Then a boy on a bicycle knocks her down and breaks through whatever negative force field surrounds her. The boy, Takashi Hayama (Nijiro Murakami), is in the same high school and grade, but a different homeroom class. He becomes her confidante, her defender and, finally, her boyfriend, vowing to never forget her.

I saw this movie at the Japan Cuts film festival a few months ago and it was really awesome. Akari was beautiful, of course but it stood on its own as a good film.

Is an announcement for Akarin´s new Drama in NHK isnt it? What im not sure is if this is about that period piece she was filming or if this a different, contemporary setting. From what i gathered she plays a prostitue and (i think ) they have her looking rather ugly and worn
