watched kaitou shoujo pv somewhere and doesn't care. I'm a fan of Toyosaki Aki, her 3rd single was released at the same day as Pinky Jones, however I'm not interested. once heard Mirai Bowl because I watched 1-2 episode of Dragon Crisis, but I forgot about the song soon.

at the end of 2011, try to watch some random videos, and found Santa-san is amusing. does not realize that it was the same girls (-1) from Pinky Jones, forgot the group's name. at 2012, watched Anisama 2011 DVD, and remember that their name is Momoiro Clover Z. I never interested in idol before, but they are the first idol group to stole my attention, until now. the "Z!!!!!!!!" by Aniki caused a big impact for me. /nyahaha

I knew Momoclo from himaJ48's wotagei video on YouTube, at the beginning of 2012. They inserted Coco☆Natsu as one of the songs that included in that vid. In the another video, there is Santa San song. I didn't know before that those songs are sung by Momoclo, so I started to discover all of the songs in the both video and found that Coco☆Natsu and Santa San are sung by Momokuro. Aaand I got addicted into their songs till now. /want
I wonder if Akarin is still at Momokuro, she will be my oshimen after all. But although she is graduated, I choosed Aarin as my oshimen. I decided to support her and the rest of the group, too.

Haha yeah. Last year I got bored of K-pop finally after like 2 yrs... it all started sounding the same to me and I wasn't very excited anymore. At that point since I had slowly started getting into Japanese idol groups like Momusu and AKB, I decided to check out other J-pop idols too including Momoclo sometime in late June. :P I guess I should thank K-pop for getting boring for me lol! But nowadays I listen to both about equally as well as other music of course so I don't get bored anymore.

SCANDAL was great of course. Then Momoclo came and suddenly everything went mental - the show, the audience, everything.
Have to say, was shocked and also blown away at first. Didn't really get it I guess, but it just stuck in my head....

well...nearly a year since then and I now consider myself a Mononofu and know for sure that nothing can compete with them when talking about Live shows (maybe Rammstein :) )

Dang so lucky. I want to go to Japan and see Momoclo too soon. Maybe next year or something. :)

I have known Momoclo since their major debut, but back then, I was a 48Group Wota. ( I'm no longer a 48 group wota now.. I gave up on them because my oshimen graduated last year. She's Nito Moeno. )
I also love to read and draw manga, so when Shingeki no Kyojin anime became popular last year, I checked the internet for videos of Isayama Hajime-San. :)
In one of his interviews I saw in Youtube, he was drawing SnK's manuscript while a Momoclo DVD was playing in his TV screen.
I said to myself, "hey, maybe it feels good to draw with Momoclo's songs as background music." :)) and I was right! XD
I started with Ikuze Kaitou Shojo, then I found Battle and Romance and 5th Dimension Albums online. the rest, as they say and will always say, is history. :)

I'm the newest newbie to the group. Quite frankly, I discovered them this fall like the last month and a half. My secret-not-so-secret passion is big Sailor Moon and so my formal introduction was of course Moon Pride. Every episode, I found myself singing the song randomly. By the fourth or fifth episode, I looked up the song on Youtube and found the Girl Factory 14 performance of Moon Pride. I remember being really impressed with the choreography and Momoka's presence in particular. Anyway, after playing the performance for a week, I finally decided to buy the song on iTunes. Curious again, I eventually watched the entire Girl Factory 14 set and I downloaded all those songs too. That performance led me to others and the other performances made my buy more of their songs. The more I watched their performances, the more songs I downloaded. My bank statement will definitely say iTunes bill for Momoiro Clover Z at the end of the month. Then I started watching the documentaries and I just fell in love with the girls themselves. I love their passion, their dedication to the craft (and each other) and work ethic. To "see" their evolution and to "see" them accomplish their goals is beautiful and truly inspiring. They actually inspire me to work harder to accomplish my goals. Not many people can inspire me but I'm always inspired by them.

I critique and see a lot of pop stars (American). Many American ones are so superficial and awful that American pop music tends to leave a bitter taste in your mouth. You become a bit cynical and bitter but Momoclo made me fall in love with music again. Their sincerity and enthusiasm reminds me that there are pop stars that actually care. I don't know if it's J-pop culture (I'm still exploring the genre) in general but you have a level of transparency that you rarely get from Pop acts especially American ones. With Momoclo, they not only seem like real people but there seems to be a genuine effort to connect with people. The fact that you could find them on the subway is fascinating to me. You couldn't catch Taylor Swift anywhere near the subway let alone near human beings. They seem so down to earth that when they say they're trying to spread joy and happiness around the world, you genuinely believe them. They mean it. They're a magical group of girls and I wish them massive success and world domination.

I've been a hyadain fan since his amusing video game remixes started floating around in youtube. I remember when he decided to stop his Keyser Soze routine in 2010, admitted that he is a professional musician named Kenichi Maeyamada and he was introducing a six member colorful group wearing some police and nurse outfits music video along with the announcement (it was on his old blog or something like that, I'll check that later). I did watch the video but wasn't interested, most likely because I was a fan of Buono back then. I listen to almost all of his works, saved the youtube videos, but only watched in about once or twice when it was out, including Koko Natsu, Z Densetsu and some Ebichu songs, because his website is a real nice place to track his on works (and it's still going on). I watched their performance in the Rino Sashihara's Idol Gathering, with those Otome Sensou robot boots and cartwheeling around, that's some crazy shit, but still wasn't interested. Some time in 2013, I stumbled upon GOUNN music video from a random suggestion probably because of my hyadaining history, and everything there is just fascinating, I love the crazy video visuals. It's funny because given the theme of the song, it's like I was literally enlightened. This combined with my losing interest in the other idol group, ultimately made me want to know more about Momoclo.

I started to watch some MAD and fan videos in youtube, especially that one video that recount their history upon reaching Kouhaku, with "Tsubasa wo Kudasai" and "A Smile Can Save the World" playing in the background, I was crying like a 5-years old. I decided to buy some books like The Legend and Momokuro Ryu because I enjoy reading instead of watching (I even haven't really seen a single episode of Momoclo Chan properly) and learned about things like the low budget street performances, low budget tours, sleeping in minivan, dreaming on Kohaku, hyadain's influence, Akarin's withdrawal, magical 6 hours straight Zepp Tokyo, Kouhaku announcement, and did I mention hyadain's influence? Hyadain was a great guy who constantly encouraged and made them realize their own talent, however, he got cocky just because he can't deal with their "evolution". Kawakami is the real MVP here, he managed to bring Momoclo with his own way and carefully planned the wacky concept, though it's a hit or miss thing, that's a real hard work and dedication. Hands down my favorite group, their story is indeed inspiring.

I was introduced to Japanese idols in February of 2011 by my brother. I was hesitant at first, I had never seen anything like it before, but somehow I knew liked this whole j-pop idol system. This idol world has rules, and I liked that sense of order. So along with my bro, I started following AKB48 with some fervor. However, various girls from AKB caught in scandals over time cooled my feelings and made me feel like I needed to look elsewhere for something more pure. Maybe I am an old stodge, but the rules need to be respected or the whole order breaks down. I still have favorites in there of course, and I still watch their tv shows, but my wallet only opens for the Stardust groups.

I discovered Momoiro Clover in the spring of 2012 when I saw the music video for Mugen no Ai. It was in a batch of various new idol videos we downloaded, and I must say quite the find. Pirates riding bicycles in outer space? What's not to love? However, even with that it took me a month before I looked into more of what they did, I was still into AKB. As I started looking at all Momoclo's other songs, performances, etc, I became hooked. With all the alligators and shampoo, the spamming of coconuts, the sentai heroines, I found what I didn't even know I had always wanted!

^ just like that too. Their energy and passion, the way they go all out in their live performances just swept me away, and still does.

So by June 2012, I considered myself fully a Momoiro Clover fan. Its been a lot of fun and I have not been disappointed. Each project, cd single, or live that they do has been a different and amazing adventure. And their songs from the 5th dimension are on a whole other level, well beyond my expectations for any kind of pop music.

In addition, I am every bit as much an Ebichu fan now as I am a MomoClo fan. I warmed up to them in late summer 2013. It was watching my Clover concert blu-ray (Haru no Ichidaiji) where Ebichu made an appearance. Thats when I first took note of them. Not long after that I needed to open a new shelf for my ever growing stack of Ebichu concert blu-rays, and tv program blu-rays, cd singles, etc.
