Doesn't really matter as long as you're okay with what you like. Trust me, out of all 38 members of my family living on the east coast, im the only one who likes JPop and learns the dances to it. Even those in the west coast have no interest. Classmates record my practice sessions as well as my friend's during free time. Just ignore it as long as you have fun. And it's a better way to perfect chants and motions. My family always walks in whenever I watch a concert because they hear me shouting or singing. They stare. I stare back. And they just leave saying "what the heck is wrong with her?" As long as you love MomoClo and enjoy what you do, no point on getting embarrassed. (PS. People in lunch ask me to do Mite Mite Kocchicchi and one of my friends dragged me away before I was about to make a rebuttal. So screw those making fun of you)

i think he may be beating up on his self a little bit, yeah neo stargate and birth0birth are different but imo its a good different. Kasou dystopia sounds like something off of B&R so thats a good thing.

they're still far from the normal idol group lol gimp masks and body suits....yeah definitely still insane and out there.

Momoclo became really huge off of concerts, its never really been about the music but how they perform it imo. I know when i first listened to songs like legend of z, and otome sensou i didnt really like them but when performed live they sound 100% better. Also the momoclo girls are getting older now and they may be wanting to do something different or a little bit more mature which is fine.

I still think he's beating up on himself a little too much, i think its great to get out of your comfort zone and like dom said its bringing in more fans. I've seen people who weren't in to momoclo at all because, "idol isn't really cool", praise them because of songs like sallaba and neo stargate. I mean none of their insane and fun songs are going away, almost all of their concerts are 2+ hours long so i guarantee more than half of their setlist will still be full of those songs.

Before I go all psycho-defensive again (sorry Atmospherium!) I just want to add a little extra thought.
MomoClo is about live shows. Albums are NOT MomoClos "long form entertainment." They're a wad of extra songs that MomoClo adds to their repertoire. The more songs you have in the bag, the more different shows you can make.
Also, this is not the first time MomoClo has changed mood. At first their songs were pretty earnest. Then they went funny. Now they've gone... to the 5th dimension. [you might draw different dividing lines in their history if you think about the songs differently] Trust the girls to push for stuff they like, and KWKM to push for stuff that he likes, and Hydain to write stuff that he likes, etc.

EDIT: I don't really have any extra money this month to get any of these goods. But *maybe* I'll go for the hako-oshi towel, since it says 517 on it...the day Momoclo was formed in 2008. I do love all of the girls, and May 17th just so happens to be my birthday. /yup
