Matsui:
Momoclo which performance finished was behind the stage.
The reporter told them "What do you think about Akari?" and drew near to them.
Kanako extended both arms and was protecting other members.
A-rin wept bitterly and screamed for the name of Akarin.

Matsui was in the guts of NHK Hall, preparing for AKB's performance, when she saw MomoClo in another hallway. They had just come off the stage and were swarmed by the press. A line of staff held the reporters off. One asked if they thought about Akari, which prompted everybody to cry. Kanako then positioned herself as another line of defense, so there probably was neither an answer nor any more questions. -

Ah.. thanks! But the reporter that asked if they thought about Akari is a bit too insensitive and a bit dumb.
I mean isn't that obvious? They even sang the old Ikuze!! that had Akari name in it and the members even write it on their blog as well.
But this accident also kind of show the reason why Kanako is the leader though, strong and brave. -
With NHK right around the corner I thought I'd leave this new link to their reaction when they learned they were to perform on Kohaku for the very first time :') This video just warms my heart, they were so surprised and happy to have finally accomplished their dream!

I'm not exited at all for Kohaku this year. Not only because I don't like My Dear Fellow, but because I don't like Perfume's Cling Cling and Perfume is one of the few other acts I like watching. I don't really care about Kyary Pamyu Pamyu anymore so...
I just hope Shiina Ringo and Nana Mizuki are amongst those names (because I can't remember how their names are spelled :)) ) so the show will be a bit more bearable. -

Looks like Momoka won't be participating in Kouhaku this year; she got a fever, went to the hospital to have it checked out, and it turns out she got the flu. There's some surprise. :（
Considering how important Kouhaku is to the girls, I can't imagine how awful she must feel - especially with Aarin and her leg fracture last Kouhaku. Hope she gets better soon.
