Hinata was diagnosed as having sudden deafness today. We have decided to postpone the release of new album. LINE LIVE will be canceled.(December 27) Hinata will be absent from the 2shot event.(December 19) https://www.shiritsuebichu.jp/official/pc/news/index.html#3271
Edit: Some background... http://www.nidcd.nih.gov/health/hearing/pages/sudden.aspx From the info at that site, it sounds like she's got at least a 50% chance of recovery over the next few weeks, and an 85% chance of at least partial recovery with treatment. And she's young, which (I hope) should help.
Hinata blog http://ameblo.jp/shirituebichu/ I felt that something was wrong with my left ear, so I went to the hospital today. I was diagnosed as having sudden deafness. I feel sort of dizzy and I feel like throwing up now. I can't participate in 2shot event and our schedule was messed up. I'm sorry, really, It's all my fault. I am fine now. I love singing. I will surely come back.
Huh? Is this the typical "it's mine not the company's fault" thingie (I don't wanna say BS) or is this something that can be brought about by certain behaviors? (can't read that at all from the article above)
^ In short about that line To everyone who looking forward to event (handshake, 2shot, album) All of that has been postponed (including can't participate) I'm really, really sorry.
Is sudden deafness something that happens from a traumatic event (like a firecracker blowing up too close) or is it because of illness (like an ear infection)?
Stardust girls have been so unlucky with injuries this year, lest hope for a better 2016 were all of them have recovered and no new issues appear.
