I was just wondering that myself. Do the words explain the masks at all????

Visually, Neo STARGATE is unique, but I have no idea what's going on. A YouTube comment said 5th Dimension is a concept album...so will the story continue in other songs? Looking forward to more videos featuring kwkm's hair.

Musically, with Momoclo's recent singles being guitar-driven, I was not expecting the techno sound. The choir is nice; it adds a rock opera feel similar to Mugen no Ai. The song never really kicks into high gear though. I'll need to listen a few more times to really get the feel of it.

They rest after the exertion of the Kouhaku. The Professor wakes them for the next mission, which is love. "Now the plan is obvious!"

I think they set out from earth into space, possibly even the future, and are now coming back to save mankind. We are driven to evolve and have sinned to do so. Pandora's box is open, so there is no choice but to acknowledge that we can/must change destiny. They are pure and will make us connect with each other. If we break the old patterns of destruction we can still make it, and be born again. Open your soul, break free, and walk together, through the star gate!

I may regret this quick summary once the other songs make things clearer ^^;

songs like these are reason why I love momoclo. pretty baller.

I can see neo stargate being used as a set-list frontliner. it just has that vibe that gets you pumped, but doesnt really, it just warms you up kinda feel.

finally the mv has been released..
but honestly this song has not caught my heart yet.
i don't know the reason.
maybe because of their damn awesome image in the video,it makes me not concern listen to the music.

The music was different but it was pulled off great in my opinion! Eek! Can't wait for BIRTH BIRTH to come out and see what happens! It's supposed to be a continuation i think but i can't wait! It was so awesome! I must get this album if allowed! /love

This is more drum n bass than dubstep. People are very quick to label any piece of music with a bassline dubstep now --- plus this song actually works it into the timbre of the composition - it's natural, it fits, unlike many other examples.

Neo STARGATE is up to #2 on the Japanese iTunes single chart. Not sure if it's going to be able to surpass Kyary Pamyu Pamyu though, who also released a new single the same day and is holding strong at #1...

I still can't believe they had the audacity to dare taking the drum n'bass/dubstep path. It's pretty hardcore when your fanbase is made of idols wotas. Yet it fits perfectly into a very coherent song. Osumi rocks.
