it makes perfect sense to me that Rina would turn out to be the Queen of the Galaxy. XD

I hadn't realized that they'd planned to end the series so soon -- it seems like it should have been set for a 26-episode run, but I guess it's going to be 11 episodes plus one improv+outtakes episode, or something like that.

And basically with 8 episodes of random plot (and Rina reading a book XD ), followed by three episodes of actual storyline -- but it's Ebichu, so it's fun to watch no matter what. :))

I remember reading it was 10 episodes plus an unaired one that will be included on the Blu-ray. But I doubt they'll leave the conclusion for the Blu-ray so maybe there're more episodes to come.

If they end it with episode 11, it looks like they're cutting it short just as the story's getting started, so maybe they really do plan to make more episodes (on maybe they did, but cut it short because the ratings were too low or the money ran out -- both of which seem a little unlikely).

For one thing, they haven't even gotten to wear those red pilot outfits from the opening credits, and it doesn't look like they're going to wear them in episode 11. So I'd guess that the original plan at least called for a lot more episode.

I had seen that at TV Tokyo's Robosan web site, but I wondered if they have plans for a second series or a new season. They might have scheduled 11 episodes, but with the option of extending the plot and adding more episodes if the show was popular enough. Ah, well -- however many episodes there are, everything that Ebichu does is fun to watch!

I just watched episode 11 -- without being able to catch more than a few words, all I can say is that there was more than enough WTF-ness to go around. XD

Amd what was that conversation at the end? All I could really gather was that it supposedly sort of tied up some things about Rina's background...

(And are they thinking of bringint Robosan back for a second series at some point? My guess is that they are...)

This episode was hilarious. I hope they end up doing more episodes someday, but right now I want them back in variety because I think between Ebichu Global and this one they've improved a lot and they have a better idea of the sense of humor they want to display.

Can I request a bit of background on the whole "necktie on the head" thing? Culture in general, not just the skit. I have been curious about it since Rōdō Sanka but I can't find much about it except relating to manga or momoclo.

Nothing cultural about it really.
Just imagine a drunk trying to undo his tie, when he tries to remove it it gets stuck on his head, he gives up and it stays there.

I guess it's more prominent in japan due to it being popularised through gag manga.
