Huh, so my guess about hair cuts was right. They did check fan's reactions with those pranks during last year, and it seems that with Kanako it turned out to be positive. So, she gets a new hairstyle. Pure business, nothing personal. as if anyone expected something else =) But well, it may turn out pretty nice.

As usual there's a cynical and a romantic interpretation, with the truth somewhere in between, and not terribly relevant.

She spent the morning at her local coming of age ceremony, causing a scene because other new/drunk adults kept doing calls. Not very promotional, and since it meant missing the concert it was probably her idea. The photos include a pony tail.

Presumably she then had her hair done and did the video call to the venue. Because of the day I'd say that was her idea as well.

If she did cut it and it's not a wig, I think it was her choice with management approval. People are digging up some interview or something from years ago where she said she wanted to try having short hair.

Well, I am not insisting on anything of course. I just tend to assume that idols are basically living fictional characters and every aspect of their lives is potentially a subject for manipulation by the management (I am putting it quite mildly here). Might sound a bit cynical, but I believe it is a legitimate view. At the same time I don't have any reason to argue that Kanako was forced to cut her hair (like, brought to the hairdresser in handcuffs of something =) ), so you both are probably right =) Anyway, I am glad that it was not Aarin. If she cut her hair, that would have been a real shock))

The Ore no Fujii 2016 Saitama Super Arena announcement was done by Matsuzaki, it's a 2 days live concert:
Day 1:
1st: 3Bjr (10:00~12:30)
2nd: Team Syachihoko (14:00~16:30)
3rd: Momoclo (18:00~21:00)
Day 2:
1st: F-Girls, S Spicy and others
2nd: Ebichu
3rd: All of them
one year and the new 3Bjr will get a solo concert in SSA, how convenient.

Kanako regarding her very short haircut:
- The other members know nothing about this
- It's her decision
- Management gave an OK to this.
