Well it is a tiny bit unfair to compare her with a trained opera singer :)
I'm not sure if she wasn't lip-syncing there to be honest
That aria is one of the most demanding around, so if it was her actually singing it was an absolutely amazing job -
It was good, I am not denying it. I daresay better than Foster Jenkins :) The quality of recording was terrible though. :( It would be a disrespect towards this amazing piece not to post it in decent quality.

Could be that it was actually designed to sound that way.
Being more of a joke (or a reference to Jenkins. Lol) which might also mean that it's not her voice

Can it be rewarding to be a fan? You spend a lot of doe but get pleasure basically out of consuming. Mostly that is.
Let me tell you a little Xmas story...
About five years ago I became a fan of Tottori local singer Takara Fujimoto. Bought all her singles, albums and DVDs plus merchandise. A true fan alas :-)

A few weeks ago she asked fans teasingly to send her presents. Some did with sweets and stuff.
So I thought: Okay she will get a present from Germany too since she asked!
And I made a DYI advent calendar, with inexpensive little things, chocolate, souvenirs and so on. Took me only half a day to create.
The postage was more expensive than the stuff itself. Lol. But then I had spent way more money on a BiSH BluRay... And I liked the concept.
Took DHL 12 days (!) to forward it out of Germany :-O But it finally arrived today as I could see from the online tracking
I had no idea how she would react. IF she would react at all. Or maybe think "jeez what a creep..."
I wasn't prepared for what would happen... Just a few hours after the delivery there was this:
