That's probably the part with their choreographer Ishikawa Yumi. She's telling them that they have to properly do their choreography and not just go with the adrenaline flow because eventually only doing that won't satisfy fans. That's not the only time it happened though. They usually have a meeting to point out mistakes after every concert and reflection time for improvement.
One particularly memorable time it happened was during the Zepp tour (I think?) before they got fitted ear pieces. The girls kept fiddling with the ear pieces they had at the time during the concerts to the point it was interfering with their performances so they were told to find a way to fix it, and that's when the duct-tape on the ears happened. lol

Yumi-sensei, their choreography coach, is harshly criticizing their dancing at the Animelo concert they participated in at Saitama Super Arena a few months before they held their first live there.
