I'm honestly super hesitant about whether to go for the premier pass or not. The concert will be good, I'm sure, but I'm moving to Japan in September and I can see concerts then. What I'm really interested in are autograph sessions... If I'm going to skip work and fly to California I might as well, though, right? Ugh, decisions. This is an expensive hobby.

If only I was interested in anime this would be an easy decision...

^I hear you. I am also planning on moving to Japan around April of next year. I know it will be easier to see a show there, but it still seems downright complicated. I figure this is my best bet to make sure I see them now!

    My wallet though... :-((

(not to mention I'm following SCANDAL over to LA this weekend)

I think he's asking if he can get tickets for his friends who don't have premiere badges... I actually don't know the answer to that question, but Selfishly I hope not. That would make for more seats to be taken before I get a chance to register, since Premiere Badges get first dibs.

The AX website says that the premiere pass doesn't give you lineup privileges for autograph sessions, so I'm not sure if I'd get it either. Like you, I'm not that interested in the anime panels and such. From what I can see, if you're mainly there for Momoclo, you'd only get it if you want to ensure that you get a really good seat at the concert, since you have the presale. But it costs over 2x as much as the regular convention pass and concert ticket probably would, so it's a pretty tough choice.

You have to subtract the price of the concert ticket from the premiere badge though, which could be like 75 dollars for a good seat. The KLK event last year was 50 bucks for basically back row, so in the end it's not actually such a bad deal.

It also lets you get first in line at panels (maybe I am wrong about autographs, but I believe they let you essentially cut in line in the past, perhaps that has been changed?). That being said, if Momoclo does have a panel (which isn't confirmed but their guests usually do in some capacity) you would basically have front or second row seats.

Plus there is the lounge, but they arn't guaranteed to enter the lounge. If they do though, I'm sure it would be wellll worth the price of the premiere badge. I can't personally take that gamble of waiting in the lounge all weekend just for a possibility of seeing them - on my end it has nothing to do with finances either. This is a trip I was planning long before I knew Momoclo was going to be there. Even though I'm sure their concert will be the highlight of my trip, it's not the only reason I'm going.

I do admire the dedication of everyone else going just to see them though. I wonder if I'd do the same had I not already planned on being at AX.

lol I completely understand. I'm just trying to make sure my friend can join me, in case she was unable to get a Premiere Badge. She's actually a transfer student from Japan who's also a mononofu.

Well, I don't do much besides buying a few things and take photo with cosplayers. So being in the lounge is more than fine for me. I basically sit home and draw all day anyways. As far as the Premier benefits, details are below.

NEW – Exclusive lounge area where Premier Fans can take a break in comfy chairs, charge their phones, check bags, and get complimentary soda and/or water. This lounge will also be where Premier Fans can pick up their swag bags, lanyards, and mini-poster.
NEW – Celebrity guests and Guests of Honor will make some brief, random appearances in the Premier Fan Lounge for meet and greet opportunities.
One (1) Main Event ticket (can be applied to Masquerade, Maid Cafe, or any ticketed concert/special event)
Entrance to the Exhibit Hall one hour before opening to general attendees on Thursday, July 1st, 2015.
Get your badge mailed to you.
Preferred seating and front-of-line privileges to all panels (does NOT apply to autograph sessions).
NOTE: There are a limited number of seats set aside for Premier Fans. In order to best take advantage of this offering, you must arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the panel. If you arrive anytime after that, you will be escorted toward general attendee seating. No exceptions.
Exclusive pre-sale period for all ticketed events (masquerade, concerts, etc…).
    Exclusive Premier Fan lanyard.
    Anime Expo 2015 mini-poster.
20% discount on Anime Expo official merchandise.
Access to AX Shuttles/Exhibit Hall/Panels/Dance/other offers including, but not limited to, video programming, gaming, karaoke, cosplay competitions, celebrity guest –meet-and-greets, autograph signings, and much more.

I'm mainly getting it to ensure I get a great concert seat and the possibility of meeting them in a lounge. I'll have plenty of paper and supplies to draw with. I'm going to work on a print to bring as well and hand it out to whoever might want one. Hopefully give one to the girls too. Also getting the badge mailed to me is a great benefit. Those registration lines have been ridiculous in the past few years.

Can I get one so I can get it signed by them? ^:)^

Sure, you can do whatever you want with it after you get it. You'll be able to find me in the lounge, unless I get kicked out for being in there too long or something lol If that happens, I'll probably be near the door to the lounge :P

lol I feel your pain. This is the first time I've ever got anything other than a normal pass. I've always been in the normal lines :)

Sorry to interrupt the discussion. Lol
(maybe it would be a good thing to have a special thread started for this?)

Mattthecat you are always welcome with the stuff you bring

Question: how naive would i be if i just went to the Nokia Theatre on july 2th hoping to get a ticket on that very day? Considering that i would get there early but without tickets,.. i am realtively close to LA, but i dont want to spend a gorillion dollars to get the same view that guys that show up at the last moment get. Am i undestimating the quantity of MCZ fans that are willing to pay a fortune to travel to LA? What about it, u.s. fanbase?

The thing is, we've never had any kind of gathering for MCZ fans before. None in the states that I know of anyways. So its hard to give any accurate guess. We'll have to wait to see how it turns out. I'm sure some Mononofu's from Japan probably will show up. There are always hard core fans with money to burn. But again, the amount is unknown at this point.

    Lol. I meant that humorously
Seriously though I think a special thread would benefit everyone as it would concentrate all the info for those who attend

I don't know. I'm not sure, but I think I might be further away from LA than I am from Tokyo. And I'm pretty far from Tokyo.

I just read your post because I thought it was something about Momoclo in general. Maybe another video, like the ones Matt posts. Or a comment about the video.

Anything a fella with a general interest in Momoclo, but not necessarily any kind of special interest in the LA concert, would be interested in.

I don't think you can get a concert ticket without having an AX ticket, fyi.

That´s the discussion im trying to start. AX is new to me and i guess the same goes for a lot of people on this blog

Being a MCZ fan its not like im being cheap about spending my money to see the girls. But i read comments on a different blog of a guy that bought a VIP package to see Babymetal and he ended up paying 3 times the amount of a regular ticket, yet general admission was almost the same as the VIP, he only got to enter the theatre 1 hour earlier and that was it

Well since everyone seems to be ignoring what stansfield123 or myself are hinting at...
I went ahead and created a thread in the News & Releases category :)
    http://momoiroclover.net/discussion/342/event-anime-expo-2015

I am really very happy for anyone who gets to attend!
But I honestly don't want to wade through dozens of posts about how to get what tickets, where to stay and in which lobby to meet for the next month, thereby pushing all other info to the back.
I hope you understand and will make good use of the new thread :)
