Yeah, I absolutely love both Hyadain tracks as well. I'm glad that there's some sort of development from the BAR-style, while you can still feel that it's him. -

Yeah, this translation is wrong on several levels - first, it's based on someone's lyrics-by-hearing before they were officially published, so some of the Japanese itself is wrong. Second, the translation has more than a few mistakes even for the wrong lyrics.
I'm working on a translation myself currently. This is a tricky song to do justice to in a way that doesn't suck.

Funny how we all have different opinios isnt it? To me, altough for sentimental reasons i liked better BAR than 5TH Dimension, i have always felt that the later is the best in terms of musical trascendence. That was blown away by Amaranthus. As much as i miss the days when i just discovered Momoiro Clover and will always get goosebumps everytime i hear that Pinky Jones intro, the new songs just obliterate all they did in the past.
I just cannot make up my mind which song i like the best. The first week was Gorilla Punch - like Moon Pride on steroids - then it was Saboten to ribbon (Sasaki, oi!). Currently i cannot believe how amazing katte ni kimi ni is. It has a classic Momoiro Clover sound (yes, Momoiro Clover without the "Z") Im almost expecting Akarin coming and start rapping midway

After listening to both albums, I can say that I'm really suprised that some fans didn't think highly of this album, because I found both to be fantastic!! And I got to say, most of the songs in each album couldn't have fit the cover themes for both albums:
- Amaranthus, with the whole garden/jungle environment.
- Hakkin No Yoake, with the whole heaven/angelic environment. -

Its great that everyone has their own opinions - some even didn't/don't like the new albums - that's the beauty of art. Right now, I'm thinking I would put Amaranthus on top as well. I think its more of the maturing sound that gets me. Still quirky parts, catchy choruses and melodies, but the vocals have come a loooong way. Besides Demonstration, which I still can't get into - Amaranthus is a really strong album from start to finish. Plus the storyline through the album makes it much more cohesive than Hakkin No Yoake and it almost forces you to listen all the way through. -

So I have listen more to Amaranthus now.. and yeah, I agree with most of you, this album is pretty good :)
Much better than the first listen I had, so I'll try to review these two this weekend or next week, if anyone is interested :)
I have taken a real liking to the song Mo No Chro Dessan :) -

Considering that had they released a single album instead of 2, this has even more merit.
Im not implying that had they released a single album instead of 2 it would be double gold on sales by now (200,000). But this shows the loyalty of Mononofu, willing to spend that extra yen to have both.
How many mononofu must have settled for just one? And if so, which one they chose? Hmmm -
^ I was actually going to just get Amaranthus originally, as these albums were a bit pricier than 5th Dimension, and I liked the sound of the songs more from what I'd heard. When I saw the trading cards though I figured I might as well just get both of them while the cards were available, since I'd probably have picked up HnY later anyway.
The evenness of the sales was pretty impressive though. The people who did buy only one must have been almost exactly split on which one they got, which suggests that both of them have a lot of appeal (there isn't one that blows the other one out of the water). -
For me it was both or none. And I could get them with the trading cards for the same price as the ones without, so I got them and yeah.. the cards are useless and utterly pointless.
But I'm glad I got both albums :) -
I realize I'm starting to abuse my "request" privileges, but any chance someone could translate this conversation? It's from the Amaranthus BR, and it's only two minutes. And, I promise, I'm only a couple of months or so away from being able to contribute some translations myself. I get the general idea of what they're saying, but it bugs me that I can't understand the nuances:
